Another Matching Outfit

Last night I made this shirt to match this patch skirt I made for Lily a couple months ago. The umbrella was a reflection of the day, we had torrential rainfall and lots of flooding on the streets. The line of fabric is called Bohemian and I ordered a jolly pack of it, which is about 30 5x5" pieces, all different prints. The skirt is a little on the skinny side (have you ever seen a baby pencil skirt?), I seem to always underestimate the width. I've just discovered the blog of the woman who designed this fabric. She's a very talented young mother of FIVE kids. I love the little patchwork coats she made for her two daughters using the Bohemian fabrics. But I won't be attempting that any time soon. Speaking of designing fabrics, there's another gorgeous line called Freshcut coming out soon, I can't wait to get my hands on some of that!
