the kids and I couldn't resist this cute fisher price roly poly bear for our baby, made in 1969! (the bear, not the baby) It chimes as it rolls, a lovely, deep melodic chime. It's about 10" high. I saw a few other vintage goodies that trip, the fisher price a-frame house, and the f.p. chiming apple. I'd love to get the a-frame house, but with the peices it came with. I have fun looking at all the vintage goodness on e-bay, I LOVE old fisher price. I've collected a few things over the last little while, the school house and garage (which my brother and I spent hours playing with), and some misc. bits and pieces. We had tons of FP growing up, but unfort. mom didn't keep much of it. I think I remember her selling lots of it at a special fisher price garage sale! Imagine one of those now - jackpot!

another vintage find at value village

Totally adorable! I can sorta remember those, too. You're lucky to have a nice Value Village close by. Nothing like a nice second hand shop, and nothing worse than a bad one! I'm afraid we have the latter. :(
Looks like your having fun collecting for your newest pumpkin!! Its so amazing that 30 yr old toys are in such good shape!
