My latest project is something I've been thinking and dreaming about for years. My mom has a "family album" with all our studio photos in it starting from when we were wee babies. I LOVED looking at that album (still do) countless times over the years. How cute we all were, the poses and backgrounds, the hairstyles and outfits classic to the 70's and 80's.
When Oliver was 4 months old, we started down that same road of studio portraits, with the intention of making a special book like that. ("Studio Portraits" sounds so formal and posh, but most of ours taken at our local Walmart.) Finally, I've made that book, and am thrilled to have it out of my head and into the sleeves of the book! I love having all of the photos together in a book - it's amazing I've kept them all handy and together over the last 7 years - and watching my sweet, gorgeous babies grow up with the turn of each page. Each photo holds a memory, like the one where the 2 kids were all dressed and ready to go. I sent them out to the car while I packed the bag, and when I went outside I discovered that Lily, then 20 months, had been playing in the puddles and was all muddy on her tights and boots! I am ashamed to admit I was pretty upset, because the replacement tights and shoes weren't quite right, and we were running late, of course! Ahhh, the memories. I'll share the pages on here when I get photos of them.

Wonderful to read you again...love the portraits of the kids as they grow. Yes, there is nothing quite like a book to hold and turn the pages...full of memories! I have made a couple of books on line...pretty fun too. (snapprint)
