You know it can't be too cold outside when your kid rides her bike in bare feet in the middle of winter! I have to say, I love our mild Vancouver winters. Sure we get lots of rain, but I find that a lot easier to contend with than snow. Nothing to shovel, no ice to slip on, no putting on layers of clothes and hats and mitts, warming up the van, etc. We usually get a few snowfalls a year, which is a fun novelty, then it's gone after a week or so.
I went back exactly a year ago in photos, and found these of the girls jumping on the tramp on a sunny day, with Lily in bare feet!
