the party favours - a strawberry plant for each of the kids in honour of earth day. Hopefully there will be some yummy yields from each one!
the bluebird cake - I made a chocolate cake, and it turned out pretty dense, so I sliced it in half and filled it with whipped cream and crushed strawberries mixed together. It made it moister and yummier. I "borrowed" the design of the birdie from a local artist that I love.
