I'm having a love affair with scrapbooking paper! I'm amazed at the beautiful pieces of 'art' I can buy for a mere dollar! Since we don't have any real art - yet - I've been framing pieces of paper, and occasionally switching them for new ones. It's a fun and cheap way to decorate. Yesterday I put new ones in the frame of 3 in the bathroom. And this bird/tree/flower one I just love, hanging on our stair wall. It's so springy and cheerful. I also have three over the fireplace in the living room. I'm worse than a kid in a candy shop when I go into the scrapbook store and discover all the new papers that have come in since the last time I was there. There's dozens and dozens that I would love to snap up - stripes, dots, floral, funky designs, etc, etc, so I don't let myself go there very often. Oh, by the way, I haven't actually scrapbooked in about 2 years, but the paper is great for making cards too. I've been thinking about buying paints and canvases and doing some paintings of my own - they would be simple but (hopefully) stunning. I know a couple girls who have done some and it's been very inspiring to get started.

Lovely papier! You sure have a good eye for matching up colors with your paint on the walls, etc! FUN!
