summer knees

this is a pretty common look right now

with the kids being outside lots and on the go

there's always scrapes or bruises

and the occasional bloodshed

all part of summer!

chopping onions

blew up the dinky pool today, the kids were very excited, we finally bought a foot pump. I was not going to blow that thing up with my own air ever again! 3 duct tape patches later, we were in business. (see one on the palm frond?) Hottest day yet so far, I think a trip to the spray park is on the agenda for the weekend.
