Ruby goes to preschool

I registered Ruby in the preschool right beside the kid's school, very convenient!  When I thought about Ruby going to preschool, I pictured tears (hers) and clinginess, as she is a bit of a mama's girl and loves to be with me!  The reality was completely the opposite.  She was SO keen to go to preschool.  She loves wearing her backpack and walking down to school.  She loves the routine of hanging up her backpack in her cubby, changing into her inside shoes and going to sit in the circle.  And, she is eager for me to leave.  When I go back and pick her up, she tells me all about her afternoon, what they did, songs they sang, and even who was crying.

I think she likes the idea that she is a big girl now,

going to school like her older siblings.
